Judith McMinn, Founder of Rezon

In 2021, Judith McMinn established Rezon, after spending lockdown developing an idea she had been contemplating for over a decade to create a headband to protect the brain in sport and reduce the risk of concussion and sub-concussive brain injury.

Judith said: “I’m really thrilled to be asked to share my story with fellow innovators at VentureFest North East. As an entrepreneur, innovating can be a lonely experience, so events like VentureFest really help us to build connections, find support and identify opportunities. I hope hearing about my own journey will inspire others on the same path and I am really looking forward to seeing which businesses will succeed at the North East Innovation Awards.”

Judith has almost 20 years in planning and delivering large scale people change projects.  Amongst her roles has been the Chief Operating Officer to a former UK Prime Minister, transforming his business and personal brand in the UK and globally.

Judith’s experience spans across problem solving, navigating complexity, transforming ambition into operational action to deliver genuine benefits, revenue and results, recruiting and developing talent, leading large multi-functional teams, proactively managing risk and reputation, building relationships, negotiating and influencing across a range of stakeholder groupings.
