    Rural vs Urban Electric Transport Innovation Forum

    This event will bring together leading electric transport experts to discuss and explore the barriers to electric transport adoption in both rural and urban areas. Businesses with an interest in the decarbonisation of road transportation, solutions to specific EV problems, or companies looking to collaborate on tackling the problem are encouraged to join us.

    A selection of different types of electric transport will be on show during the event with delegates encouraged to ask questions about the various models on display as well as try them out for themselves.

    The Rural vs Urban Electric Transport Innovation Forum will be delivered on behalf of Transport North East as part of the ERDF-funded Go Ultra Low NE campaign with support from Innovation SuperNetwork, Urban Foresight and Zero Carbon Futures. Representatives from Durham County Council and the North East Energy Catalyst will also be in attendance.

    Durham Heat Hub is excited to invite you to join us for a two-day user-centered heat innovation sprint to identity future heat challenges and opportunities in the North East of England.

    Through two days of innovation sprinting and open collaboration, led by Durham Heat Hub in collaboration with Northern Gas Networks, Northern PowerGrid, North East Energy Catalyst, and facilitated by Northumbrian Water, participants will identify, understand and define ideas to contribute to the decarbonisation of heat in the region and beyond.
