We’re seeking a dynamic access to finance expert to join our growing team. The successful candidate will help grow the number of active investors working with innovative companies in North East England and beyond.
£40,000 / £50,000 (depending on qualifications and experience). Full-time contract with flexible working options.
A significant part of our work is in connecting innovative businesses with suitable investors through programmes like FinanceCamp and Entrepreneurs of the North. We are also about to launch two new programmes, focusing on increasing the levels of Angel investment in local businesses. This expansion in our activities means that we require a further Innovation Manager to join the team, with a focus on working with investors.
The role is high-profile, externally-focussed and with the potential to have a huge impact on our region.
The ideal person will have experience in working with investors and raising finance for innovative businesses. Excellent communication skills, both on a one-to-one basis and in front of an audience, are crucial to the role, which will focus on building networks and connecting people. You will need to be motivated, organised and love working with people to make this work.
The salary level for the role is £40,000 plus pension. However, candidates with direct corporate finance experience who are currently (or could become) an approved person for arranging deals in investments could be eligible for an increased starting salary of £50,000. If this opportunity is for you, the first step is to forward your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org by 15th March 2019.
