With less than a week to go until day one of VentureFest North East on the 10th May, we have now shortlisted the entries for this year’s Innovation Awards!
This year saw a return to an open application process, and we have looked through many high-quality applications, all with fantastic demonstration of innovation, to select three businesses for each of the nine categories within the awards.
Held on the evening of VentureFest North East 2023 at the Boiler Shop, Newcastle on May 10th, the Innovation Awards are set to celebrate the diverse range of inspiring and ground-breaking innovation and innovators based here in the North East.
We have worked closely with our partners who have expertise in each category to deliberate this year’s entries, including Catax, our headline partner for the awards.
The businesses and individuals we have shortlisted are innovating in industries from technology and manufacturing to sustainability and energy. Each has demonstrated exceptional talent in their respective fields, and we are delighted that each one has a focus on creating positive economic, environmental and social impact.
The Innovation of the Year award will be selected from a list of eleven businesses in this year’s Innovation Showcase. Visitors to VentureFest can explore the innovations and play a part in the awards by voting on the day for their favourite!
