What does your business have planned in the next 12 months?
Over the next 12 months we will be proactively contacting, and being available for, clients to discuss any anxieties as we move through a potentially challenging economic and investment environment.
We will also be hosting a series of interesting webinars to support our clients who are business owners and entrepreneurs. These include, but are not limited to, Business Protection, Aspects of Exit Planning and Inheritance Tax Planning. We will continue to support business owners in the complex area of Corporate Financial Planning by helping them to maximise the growth rate and valuation of their business through our Entrepreneur Club. Find out more here
What are you professionally/ personally most proud of?
I am proud of successfully managing and building a business through the downturns and aftermath of 2009 and 2020. Taking on team members and watching them develop into confident professionals is also something I am very passionate about.
I am also very proud of the long-term trusted client relationships that we have and seeing plans started years ago successfully coming to fruition is very rewarding.
What is the most enjoyable part of your work?
Building long-term relationships with my clients and understanding their individual requirements, supporting them through change and seeing them achieve their financial goals, both personally and in business.
Run us through your typical day?
The ideal day is spent with clients, punctuated by the notes and technical planning that fall either side. However, all too often admin creeps in!
How do you keep your team motivated?
At Broad Chare Partners, we are fortunate in that our team are all generally self-motivated. However, we support this with a broad benefit package and bonus structure, together with a lot of communication and a sprinkling of social events (now we are able to do so again).
