Do you have the flair to support and challenge innovative businesses to secure the finance needed to bring new products and services to market? Our Access to Finance Manager is a newly created role to grow our highly regarded innovation finance services to North East SMEs and investors.
The Innovation SuperNetwork is on a mission to cultivate a stronger innovation eco-system in the North East of England and we achieve this by delivering:

We are looking for experienced business advisors with in-depth understanding of helping SMEs to actively work with investors. The Access to Finance Manager role is specifically designed to ensure SMEs access to appropriate sources of innovation finance, be that grant funding, angel investment or lender-backed finance.

Successful candidates will have a strong knowledge of the North East England financial investment ecosystem, excellent communication skills, both on a one-to-one basis and in front of an audience, and a track record of building networks and connecting people. You will need to be motivated, planful, organised and credible with the investor and SME communities.
The salary level for the role is £40,000 annual equivalent, plus pension and can be pro rata’d for a part time option.
We are a flexible-first employer and keen to hear from anyone interested in delivering the role either full time part time, or job share capacity. It is anticipated that a minimum of 3 days per week will be required for overall programme and investor network development, including a proportionate SME advisory caseload.
If this opportunity is for you, in whole or in part, the first step is to send us your CV and a covering letter explaining how you fit with the role, to firstname.lastname@example.org by Monday 24th January 2022.
