Sustainable Advanced Manufacturing (SAM) Project / University of Sunderland

The University is research active, with ten areas of ‘world leading’ research – real-world research taught in lecture halls and labs.

Sustainable Advanced Manufacturing (SAM) is a £5.1m European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) project with University of Sunderland. SAM offers fully funded technical and collaborative R&D support, access to £1M of state-of-the-art kit and a grant fund to eligible Manufacturing SMEs in the NE LEP area, which require support with the implementation of product and process development and the introduction of new technology.
